Information you provide

When you sign up to monitor a license, we use your email address and your selected license to send a confirmation and, where available, monitoring alerts. You can use the stop-monitoring link in an email to stop that monitoring.

Customer accounts and Google sign-in

You can create an account using Google sign-in or a single-use email link. Google provides an account identifier, email address, and basic profile information to verify your identity. We store your verified email and the Google account identifier that connects your sign-in to LicenseCurrent. Existing monitoring choices and subscriptions are matched to your verified email. Linking a different sign-in method to an existing account may require an additional email verification.

Your account shows your selected licenses, monitoring confirmations, plan allowance, and subscription status. Account information is restricted to your authenticated account. Session cookies keep you signed in and protect account actions. Email sign-in links expire after 20 minutes; only a hash of the link token is stored. Short-term hashed email and network identifiers help limit abusive sign-in requests. Expired sign-in records are periodically removed.

Payments and account choices

Stripe processes subscription payments and provides billing, invoice, payment-method, and cancellation controls. We keep subscription references, plan information, payment-access dates, and the billing email needed to provide your service. Card details are handled by Stripe. You can stop individual monitoring requests in your account or through the stop-monitoring links in emails. Stopping monitoring does not cancel a paid subscription; use billing management to cancel that subscription. Account and billing records are retained as needed to operate the service and maintain payment records.

The customer account area does not run advertising or website analytics. Google sign-in and Stripe billing have their own privacy terms: Google Privacy Policy and Stripe Privacy Policy.

Site operation

Our hosting provider may collect standard server information, such as IP address, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to operate and secure the site. The site uses session cookies for features such as form security.

Website analytics

With your permission, LicenseCurrent uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Google may use cookies and receive device and approximate location information. We configure measurement to omit search terms, email addresses and confirmation tokens from the information we send. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer of our main pages. This choice is separate from advertising preferences.

Google advertising and cookies

LicenseCurrent uses Google AdSense for advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on visits to this and other sites, subject to your choices and applicable settings. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center. You can also manage cookies in your browser.

Public license records

LicenseCurrent displays information from public licensing and registration records. The availability, coverage, and update timing differ by jurisdiction; verify important details with the issuing authority.
